For accredited investors, adding alternative investments to your portfolio can produce favorable outcomes – offering the potential for higher returns, greater diversification, and lower levels of volatility. But that means understanding and accepting certain conditions that some investors may consider drawbacks. And importantly, these higher levels of returns at lower levels of risk are only possible when alts investing is done well.     Accredited Investor

    You meet one or more of the following:

    • Individual income over $200,000 (or $300,000 joint) in each of the last two years, with expectation to earn the same this year
    • Net worth over $1 million, excluding primary residence
    • Holder of Series 7, 65, or 82 license
    • Entity with $5 million+ in investable assets (not formed solely for the investment)
    • Certain financial institutions

    Qualified Purchaser

    You meet one or more of the following:

    • You (individually or jointly) own $5 million+ in investments (excluding primary residence)
    • You represent an entity or trust with $25 million+ in investments
    • You are an entity where all beneficial owners are Qualified Purchasers

    Licensed Financial Professional

    You personally hold a Series 7, 65, or 82 license and are active in the industry

    Institutional Investor

    You represent a bank, insurance company, RIA, or other regulated financial institution
